The origin of NYALA was fully initiated by the students of Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur.

The idea of NYALA was sparked by Akmal Hisham and was further elaborated by the Infra Kingdom, representing dedicated team in IUKL that create a full synergy to achieve the success of the XXX!NYALA 31st Architectural Student Workshop 2019.

THE ORIGIN OF NYALA for [RE:D]EFINE 2018

The original NYALA logo (which is consisted of 40 lines) was designed by Lee Cheng How. All works have been finalised by a collective brainstorm by NYALA creative minds of IUKL delegates to [RE:D]EFINE.

"...Blue represent night, red represent day, yellow represent the shinning of NYALA. It has no specific form. It can be daylight or nightlight. Just like a personality, some people conspicuous but some people good in unseen part, but everyone still can NYALA (success), just how we define it.

The form has no relation to any existing things or animal. We are architecture students. Line weight and form is the most related thing to us. NYALA logo apply a polygon shape mixed with circle to represent form, the line in between to represent line.

That is NYALA..."
