ASWXXX! COMPETITIONS
Open for all participating institution in the 31st Architectural Student Workshop 2019.
The action of NYALA [ignite] sparks creative ideas that enlighten the built environment by creating art, architecture and building infrastructure which are in harmony with people, culture and the nature that we are living in today.
The philosophy for competition revolves around the concept of INTENT > ACTION > PRODUCT which propagates that a person AND collectively the people is/are the main actor(s) in making the end product(s) and/or service(s). As much as possible, full reflection of the past themes (embedded in the first 3 cycles of previous workshops), present (xxx!nyala 31st Architectural Students Workshop) and future may be ignited in all competition submissions.

Kingdom Competition
The Kingdom Competition series are arranged as a platform to highlight identity of each participating institution.
Participants may creatively represent their institution based on imaginary kingdom. Example of the kingdom representation may be illustrated as a case scenario below;
THE INFRA KINGDOMInfra Kingdom started after a peace treaty between six(6) main villages that were constantly at war. Six mysterious monks (known as the Daedalus) successfully infused the hope of peace into the hearts of all villagers. Harmony, Allegiance, Peace, Vigorous, Staunch, and Disposition become the Six pillars of NYALA… - partial disclosure of the INFRA KINGDOM
Each institution may be represented as ONE imaginary kingdom to commemorate the 31st Architectural Student Workshop. Each kingdom is deemed to be located at any ONE of the imaginary site from the choices given below. The selection of region or continents may have direct impact in the creation identity of each kingdom.
